Babur Restaurant

babur.jpg

With a website boasting their namesake after the Emperor Babur, the founder of the Mughal dynasty of India, Babur, the restaurant on Queen Street West has big shoes to fit in. We ordered chicken tikka, butter chicken, navrattan biryani, the housespecial naan and marsala tea and after more than 30 minutes our meal was served hot and quite delicious. There are vegetarian samosas, shish kebab, butter chicken and tandoori turbot that are on the menu as well. We overheard from the table next to us that Babur also has a lunch buffet. If you have time to look out the window, watch some YouTube videos on your iPhone, time to chat, or have a book in hand, head out to Babur and have a relaxing evening.
