Comic Ron Josol kills at Yuk Yuks

Filipino stand up comic Ron Josol performed at Yuk Yuks downtown over the weekend and was a treat to watch. He has a bunch of one-liners and a quick delivery that provides many consistent laughs. There's something amazing about watching comedy live. If you watch it on youtube or TV it's nothing in comparison to the live interactive experience with the crowd. The crowd on Saturday night was a young one that just wanted to have a good time and walked away doing so.

Some of Josol's jokes included:

"I notice in every major city there's a club called G-Spot, one here, one in LA one in New York, , they dont' have G-Spot in San Francisco, they have a prostate gland...Tight security.

At the border they're so rude now, I took a flight to Illinois, this big nasty guard comes up to me and is like,
"Where are you going?!"
Chicago
"For what?"
Stand up comedy
"You're a comedian?"
Yeah
"Say something funny"
You're good looking

"I never believed in Santa growing up because I was raised in an apartment. I'd be waiting by the heater, "When's the hell's he going to come out."

"I like Japanese food, it takes you ten years to become a professional sushi chef, that's a long time to learn to cook something that doens't need to be cooked in the f___n first place. Sushi is finished before cook it."
