Far Coast Coffee

Coca-cola moved into the the coffee business last year and one of their test markets is Toronto with coffee flavours like 'Belegante' and 'Framboose,' the taste of which I unfortunately was not as excited about as the lounge feel of the cafe. The pastry choices were decent though. What I liked is the fact that you can cordon off a section or a whole floor of this three floor building for private events and have a great view of the goings-on on Bloor Street or the Windsor Arms Hotel through picture windows. I even hosted a Meetup here a couple of weeks ago and my guests agreed with me about the ambiance of the cafe.

Far Coast also produces Chaqwa, a complementary brand of coffees and teas for convenience stores, quick service restaurants and people on the go; an example would be its availability to theatregoers at the Varsity VIP theatres two blocks from the Far Coast Concept Store. Far Coast has since opened Concept Stores in the US, Oslo ,Singapore and other locations. Check farcoast.com for a location closest to you.
