Finding a restaurant serving dimsum in Chinatown is not difficult. Finding one that has a differentiator is another matter. At Grand Treasure, its name defines the service and quality of food served. Service being almost instantaneous is almost a requirement in a Chinese restaurant but being served by a multi-lingual waitstaff is clearly customer focused. Our waitstaff was able to speak Mandarin, Spanish and English in one clean swoop. She glided through tables with ease as she switched from serving Har Gow and Rice in Lotus Leaves to clean up tables in preparation for the next client waiting patiently in queue. With dim sum choices that start at $1.88, you could not help but choose a lot from the menu. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere that was clean and provided a varied selection that one can choose from a list that you check off for ease of ordering and invoicing. I was impressed. Feeling satiated, I was ready to conquer the haggling with Chinatown fruit vendors.
