House of Lords Rocks

Finding a great hair salon is normally a hit and miss affair. If you are anything like me, I am picky about who touches my hair. Style is important...so is the price range. But I also take a lot of stock in cleanliness and most of all friendliness of service.

House of Lords is probably the best place that fits all my demanding needs. House of Lords is a cool, funky place that is an experience, not just a "hair cutting place". It has style, it has great background music (although always a bit loud) and great hairstylists. Due to the vastness of the staff, you almost always can get an appointment within a reasonable time. I normally go to Michael H, who is always gracious and definitely an excellent hair stylist. However, all the stylists are top notch.

House of Lords is conveniently located downtown at 639 Yonge Street between Charles and Isabella. It's a real Toronto must-experience.

I just got the best haircut at house of lords. I tried one of the new stylists there named Vanessa and she rocked! She did exactly what I wanted, when I didn't really know what I wanted. I swear she's a mind reader that Vanessa.

Venessa was my hairstylist where she use to work and I dearly miss her. I'm thinking I need to come down to this place and get my hair cut from her again, even though I'm in Barrie. Totally worth the drive

I'm not related to anyone at House of Lords and this is a legitimate comment from an extremely happy customer. I have spent hundreds of dollars at salons in Bloor West, trying to get a good spiked haircut. I often ended up clipping my own hair which didn't turn out any better but at least I didn't have to pay for the bad cut. All seemed hopeless until I walked into House of Lords in October 2008. The cut is consistently fantastic and the price is perfect.

I have been coming to House of Lords for over 5 years, and have seen a range of stylists. Some good, some not so good but the not so good ones usually move on quickly to who knows where. I generally see which ones have been there for atleast a few of my visits then my friends or myself test them out.

Vanessa has been cutting my hair recently and she does a great job. She did what I wanted with my hair without me giving much direction. She just knows my personality and found something that works well for me. Short and spiky, but girlee flare.

Genevieve cut my hair for a long time before I befriended Vanessa, and when I had long hair. She always did a good job of my hair or my sisters.

About 5 years ago I chopped off my long locks and kept my awesome stylist for over a year. Then she got pregnant and left me stylistless. I was in hair limbo jumping from one stylist to another...Then I walked into House of Lords, met Vanessa, and now she is my new best friend on hair cut day. She gets what I want and works her magic.
