Wouldn't we all want to know that we live in safe neighbourhoods and the world is at peace? One way to do this is to carefully choose which place to live in so that it does happen (or at least it provides us with a bit more security and peace of mind). CBC mashed up their homicide list with Google maps to create the image above. When you go to their website, you can click on the tacks to determine who was stabbed, shot or had trauma. The most recent one was homicide victim #74 Dwayne Norris Campbell, age 27, at 285 Shuter Street on November 6.
Realtors and buyers can use this as valuable information for decision making and sales approaches. It's a good tool to use to have a clearer understanding of what one gets themselves into before moving into a neighbourhood.
