Not-To-Be-Missed Titantic Exhibit Sails Away January 8, 2008

If you have not yet seen the Titantic exhibit at the Ontario Science Centre, now would be a good time to make the trip.

Titantic: The Artifact Exhibit is an engaging travel back to the past. The experience begins with a collection of original furniture from the ship, followed by a walk into a replica of the galley ways of the vessel. You get to see a model of a typical room on the Titantic, separated by classes, including real artifacts, recovered from nearly 4-km below the ocean. You can even touch an iceberg to give you a feeling of the cold blustery night and the severity of events that must of occurred.

This is a moving education experience that should not be missed. The visit is heightened by the ticket you receive at the gate of the exhibit. On it is written the name of a real passenger on the Titantic. Your job at the end of the exhibit is to see if your persona actually lived or died that night or whether you survived the cold waters of the Atlantic.
