Plaza Flamingo salsa lessons

Plaza Flamingo, at Bathurst and College, is a large restaurant with a huge dance floor in their basement, which hosts salsa lessons. I've dropped in for $10 and it's a fun atmosphere. The instructor is funny and energetic and very clearly passionate about salsa. The beginners class is what I tested out and most people were pretty friendly and fun loving, and cool with the fact that nobody really knew too much. My partner that night thought I was an awful dancer and was pretty critical, for a fellow newb. So she kind of ruined the experience, but overall the people were pretty laid back.

The appetizers are pretty tasty as well upstairs.
