Richtree BCE Heritage Square

Ceasar salad @ RichtreeEveryday there's a special at Richtree. How about a two- for-one crepe special to compliment your dinner? Or have a steak dinner? Or if you're craving for fresh tilapia instead. There are many Richtree locations in the city and the one I like best is at the BCE place because it has the most variety, great location at the historic BCE heritage square and its near a subway stop (King Street). The food is excellent and the service is outstanding as well as the price perfect for everyone's budget. And it fits a big group of people. I have monthly meetings with one of my non-profit associations and this is where we hold the meetings. There are three main rooms at the back at can be cordoned off for your group. There are more multiple stations to satisfy most cravings - from Curried Chicken, Pasta and Pizza, Sushi as well as Soup and Salad to fresh Oysters, Steaks, Grilled Salmon. It's a fresh market so food is cooked to your requirements. For breakfast I would have the birchmuesli and an omellet but for lunch I'd have the hamburger and fries. For dinners I've had the scallops or the stir fry. Yes, I've been to Richtree many many times that I had to cash in my completely stamped coffee card and have won a couple of free muffins along the way. The cash register randomly chooses a winner of various items (free coffee, free muffins, free whatever) so visiting often means increasing one's chances of going back. Just today, I've tried their chocolate pudding which I've always seen but not really have tasted. It was delish! You have to try it. This is perfect for everyone's budget because you control what the amount you buy. It is perfect for those groups with various meal requirements because you control the way your food is cooked.

richtreeThe seasons special is Apple puff pastry - starts Oct 11 so I have to check that out this weekend when I head out there with my friends. After which we roll ourselves next door to the Hockey Museum (which I'll talk about at another time). Another great point for this restaurant is that it's open late. Make sure the confectionnaire sugar doesn't get to your shirt as you enjoy that dessert.
