The Darjeeling Limited

Wes Anderson’s latest flick, “The Darjeeling Limited”, chronicles the tale of 3 brothers who try and mend a shattered relationship in India. Owen Wilson, Adrian Brody and Jason Schwartzman play the 3 brothers. The film follows the style of Anderson’s previous films such as “The Royal Tenenbaums in that the lines are blurred as to what genre the film envelopes. It is mostly a comedy and drama however. The humor is often understated but funny and while being slow paced at times the film doesn’t drag. Natalie Portman and Bill Murray have a couple of smaller roles. The growth of the characters is also subtle but you can recognize its presence.
