Egale Canada, Stop Murder Music Canada and CUPE SCFP will sponsor a panel discussion and public forum on Friday, February 29th, 2008, entitled The Sound of Hate. The forum will discuss collisions between dancehall music and human rights and discrimination and the dangers of violations of the Criminal Code and the Canadian Human Rights Act.
Torontonians interested in discrimination free music, concerts and airwaves will find this panel discussion particularly intriguing.
The Sound of Hate will take place this Friday at the University of Toronto, Medical Sciences Building, 1 King's Circle, Room 2158, on Friday. Angela Robertson will moderate. More information at 416-642-5030 (Egale Canada).
