Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival

Toronto Sketch Comedy is happening now at the Diesel Playhouse and Second City until November 18. In the tradition of sketch comedy legends like Monty Python, Kids in the Hall, Little Britain and Mr. Show the show has 45 of the best emerging troupes in North America. And award winners from The Canadian Comedy Award, Dora Award, Tim Sims Encouragement Award, Pick of the Fringe and more will be gracing the shows. For a 4-show $36 pass, this is a great deal to catch a couple of laughs right after work. Humber College School of Comedy showcases their new artists as well.

Toronto's very own comedy troupes include Accidental Company, Approximately 3 Peters, Asiansploitation, Boiled Wieners, Caught in the Net, Circular Laughing Breads, Cory!, Fade to Brown, frenzy, The Imponderables, Kathleen Phillips, Kathleen Turner Overdrive, Morbio, My First Crush, Ms. Chickaburns, The Nefarious Black Roses, Kathleen Phillips, The Polecats, Press, Release, Repeat, Radio Vault, The Riot, Shame is Right!, The Sketchersons, Smells Like the 80s, The Somethingorothers, Trophy Wives, The Understudies, and The Williamson Playboys.
