The Toronto Ukrainian Festival is taken place this weekend on Bloor St. in between Runneymede and Jane. Loads of Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian Torontonians of all ages, many sporting the Ukrainian national soccery jersey, have jammed the streets and are enjoying the festivities. There are a bunch of Ukrainian food stations, as well as other cuisines such as churros, yams, corn and lemonade. Mamma's Pizza has a special deal on sausage as well.
There's plenty of beer tents with the most popular Ukrainian brands on tap and today Randy Bachman of The Guess Who will kick off festivities for the festival.
