Weekend in Toronto

In looking for a list of things to do for the weekend in Toronto, I found this list that starts with the Toronto Zoo and ends with the Toronto Islands. A friend is coming to my city and seeing Toronto from my friend's eyes whose first time in the city brings a fresh outlook to anyone whose lived here for awhile. For example a stroll at the Harbourfront introduces one to the many free concerts and events that happen throughout the year showcases the city's diversity. Follow this up with the backdrop of Lake Ontario and one's visit becomes breathtaking.

A similar experience happens when my friend looked through the glass floor of the CN Tower. Remember your first time? The new glass elevator floor is a great recap of one's experience while having dinner at the 360 restaurant or enjoying photo ops at the observation deck. A must see for anyone visiting Toronto.

So a weekend in Toronto can include a visit to the art world (ROM, AGO), sports (Hockey Museum), entertainment (Roy Thompson Hall, Massey Hall), see the animals (Zoo), and more. I'm hoping my friend will enjoy his stay over the weekend. How about you? Which Toronto sights do you bring your friends to?
