Who were the Trypilians?

Who were the Trypilians? How were they able to build the largest settlements in Europe, well over five thousand years ago? And why did they burn them down? Exploring old worlds and answers to these questions posed by the curators at the ROM will fascinate their viewers. The Mysteries of Ancient Ukraine: The Remarkable Trypilian Culture (5400-2700 BC) exhibit will showcase Trypilians way of life and these treasures will provide you with a glimpse of how they prospered as a people. This exhibit will be open to the public from November 29, 2008 to March 22, 2009.
