World Press Photo

The Allen Lambert Galleria at the beautiful BCE place is the great location for the World Press Photo exhibition. Their mission is to encourage high professional standards in photojournalism and to promote a free and unrestricted exchange of information. Their 2008 contest produced crisp, thought-provoking photos that you can enjoy at the exhibit until the 22nd of October. World Press Photo aims to support professional press photography on a wide international scale. The exhibition is officially opened in Amsterdam as part of the prize-giving ceremony in April and until March the next year can be seen at venues around the globe. The tour program takes in over 80 cities worldwide and is still expanding.
